....cow as a scared creature.....some of the men folk of India seem to have an odd perception of reality...
Since the beginning of time men have raped women [and raped men too] and throughout the so called civilised world, rape has been used as a weapon of mass destruction.... but following the story lines from India it did make me wonder, for a country that reveres the cow, how did women end up coming further down the order of respect.
Of course it is not every Indian man, you only have to see images of the protests to see that there are many men standing cheek by jowl to the women protestors...... and by way of a contrast to the UK, we have rapes, we have murders, we have child abductions but we don't take to the streets......
I can't say I have the informed wisdom of knowing why the Indian people need to protest, for sure the crime committed was awful and the life lost needlessly but as the link shows it's not the first and I doubt it will be the last......For sure the cow is sacred.......perhaps one day the misogynists of India will consider women as sacred...
This post doesn't really call for a SoD....but this calming song perhaps is a reflection ....that hopefully things will change for the better........he may be aboriginal but his voice is without boundaries...
